Delivery Terms

WINDOW & DOOR DELIVERY TERMS (California)

Anderson Moulding Windows & Doors (“Company”) provides jobsite delivery services for qualifying window and door orders subject to the following terms:

1. Minimum Order & Charges

Delivery is available for orders totaling $1,000 or more. Delivery charges apply and are determined based on jobsite location and accessibility. All fees must be confirmed prior to scheduling.

2. Delivery & Placement

Materials are delivered on an A-frame and will be placed curbside or at the nearest safe and accessible location, as determined solely by the Company’s driver. Final placement location is at the driver’s discretion based on safety, equipment limitations, and site conditions.

3. Transfer of Risk

Upon placement of materials at the designated delivery location, risk of loss, damage, or theft transfers to the customer, consistent with California Commercial Code provisions governing shipment contracts.

4. Customer Responsibility

The customer is solely responsible for unloading materials from the A-frame and transporting them into the jobsite. The customer must provide sufficient labor, supervision, and appropriate equipment at the time of delivery.

 

Up to one (1) hour is allotted for unloading. Additional time will be billed at the Company’s prevailing hourly rate.

5. Site Conditions

The jobsite must provide safe, unobstructed, and legally accessible conditions for delivery vehicles and forklift operation. If the site is unsafe or inaccessible, the Company reserves the right to refuse or reschedule delivery. Redelivery or delay charges may apply.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for:

  • Damage occurring after placement of materials

  • Delays due to traffic, weather, jobsite conditions, or circumstances beyond its control

  • Damage caused by improper unloading or handling by the customer

Liability, if any, shall not exceed the invoice value of the delivered materials.

7. Acceptance of Terms

Scheduling delivery constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.

Moulding Material DELIVERY TERMS & conditions

Anderson Moulding provides delivery services for moulding materials subject to the following terms and conditions.

Delivery Charges

Delivery fees are based on order size, location, accessibility, and delivery requirements.

Some local deliveries may be provided free of charge. Please speak with your Anderson Moulding sales representative to determine eligibility.

Delivery Location

Materials will be delivered curbside, driveway, garage, or to the nearest safe and accessible location as determined by the Company's driver. Final placement is at the driver's discretion based on safety and site conditions.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Customer is responsible for moving materials from the delivery location into the building or jobsite.

  • Customer must provide adequate labor and equipment to receive materials.

  • Materials should be inspected upon delivery and any visible shortages or damage reported immediately.

Transfer of Risk

Once materials have been delivered and placed at the designated location, responsibility for loss, damage, or theft transfers to the customer.

Site Access

The jobsite must provide safe and unobstructed access for delivery vehicles. Anderson Moulding reserves the right to refuse or reschedule deliveries when site conditions are unsafe or inaccessible. Additional delivery or redelivery charges may apply.

Limitation of Liability

Anderson Moulding is not responsible for:

  • Damage occurring after delivery.

  • Delays caused by weather, traffic, jobsite conditions, or other circumstances beyond its control.

  • Damage resulting from customer unloading, handling, storage, or installation.

Any liability shall be limited to the invoice value of the delivered materials.

Acceptance

Scheduling or accepting delivery constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
